Hell's Kitchen

Today was a horse riding day. Two rides high into the Rockies and down a very steep decline dubbed "Hell's Kitchen". The girls have a tough time with this ride because of the slope but taking them from their comfort zones is part of the leadership lesson. It humbles you when you aren't always able to be in control. You come to realize you have weaknesses and that it is alright to ask for help. They don't quite understand the goal we have for them yet but by Friday they will be able to see the larger picture and understand why we do what we do.

This includes the assault on them when they think that they are having an innocent contest. First, some 3-on-3 basketball followed by a dunking contest in which the lights "go out". When we attack them with buckets of water and balloons- they have to join forces against us...20 leaders all trying to lead...you get the idea.

Glad to see you're enjoying yourself.

Have fun and I'm working on when to get Anna down to FL later this month to see you and all the other locals.
